The Brave New World continues apace. According to this story, the Obama administration, via the department of Health and Human Services, has a special program to promote the adoption of children by members of the “LGBT” community. This program was discussed at this week’s “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT)” youth summit sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. Meanwhile, Catholic World News points out that the State Department is sending out a greeting to attendees of gay pride rallies across the world.
No administration has been this committed to winning the culture war for gay activists, and the American taxpayer is picking up the bill for its propaganda. Yet leading Republican presidential nominees don’t appear too interested in engaging President Obama on these issues. Their focus is almost exclusively on his economic record. Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, before he decided not to run, foreshadowed this approach when he suggested a “truce” in the culture war.
