“At Planned Parenthood, the rich get richer while the poor get abortions”

American Life League’s Stop Planned Parenthood International recently completed 2023 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation found that “the average Planned Parenthood affiliate CEO is in the 98th percentile of US wage earners, making $317,564 annually.”

For years, we have lived with staggering grocery prices, crippling gas prices, and inflation that has handicapped families throughout our country. Times are difficult, and the financial burden has countless people worrying where the money will come from for even basic necessities.

Yet not everybody is worried.

While most of the country is hurting and feeling overwhelmed because of high prices, Planned Parenthood—especially its CEOs—seems to be doing just fine.

The organization dedicated to killing preborn babies and pushing gender-changing surgery on youth pays its CEOs a phenomenal amount of money.

American Life League’s Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP) program recently completed its 2023 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation. In the report, which examined data from the latest fiscal years reported by PP—which were either 2019, 2020, or 2021 (depending on the affiliate)—STOPP found that “the average Planned Parenthood affiliate CEO is in the 98th percentile of US wage earners, making $317,564 annually.”

Further, the report found that, in the last five years, the average compensation for a CEO at Planned Parenthood increased 33.4%. To put that in perspective, during that same time period, the average wage for US workers increased only 15.6%.

Meanwhile, PP claims that “nearly 70% [of its customers] live with incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level, the equivalent of $39,300 a year for a family of four.”

As ALL’s director of communications, Katie Brown, pointed out, “At Planned Parenthood, the rich get richer while the poor get abortions.”

And our tax dollars help those CEOs get richer. Planned Parenthood’s 2021-2022 Annual Report paints a disturbing picture. For the year ending June 30, 2022, 35% of its annual revenue came from government services and grants. That’s just over 670 million dollars.

Why are we still giving money to this organization—an organization whose CEOs are paid more than most of us can ever fathom making?

We still give Planned Parenthood money because our country continually elects officials who sympathize with the organization. We still give PP money because, as a collective society, we believe that someone else will stop the madness or that someone else will bring change. We still give PP money because not enough people have stood up to say that enough is enough. And we still give PP money because many think that they are not affected by this organization.

But think again. The insidious arms of Planned Parenthood have incredible reach. Remember, this is the organization founded by Margaret Sanger, who even PP admits was a racist. In a 2021 article, PP writes, “The difficult truth is that Margaret Sanger’s racist alliances and belief in eugenics have caused irreparable damage to the health and lives of black people, Indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, immigrants, and many others. Her alignment with the eugenics movement, rooted in white supremacy, is in direct opposition to our mission.”

Even though PP admits its racist history, the organization continues these racist practices. The CEO salaries report found that “the highest paid affiliate CEO, a white woman, made $616,926. The lowest paid affiliate was one of only four black affiliate CEOs (out of 53). She was paid $124,045.” According to the report, “The lowest paid CEO was . . . paid less than the CEOs of 16 PPFA affiliates that produced less income than the one she presided over. The Planned Parenthood facility she operated was number 36 on the income producing list of 53 PP affiliates, yet she was Planned Parenthood’s lowest paid CEO.”

It’s quite normal that pay ranges vary depending on location and experience, but that is quite a hefty—and suspect—variation.

So let’s look at how PP affects everyone.

It kills our children.

PP killed 374,155 babies during the fiscal year reported on in its latest annual report. That’s more than the entire city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Picture that entire city wiped out. The bloodshed is staggering. That’s 374,155 moms without babies. That’s 374,155 dads without babies. That’s 1,496,620 grandparents without grandchildren. It’s an untold amount of children without siblings, cousins without cousins, and aunts and uncles without nieces and nephews.

It brainwashes our children.

There were over 204,000 conversations on Roo, PP’s sex education chatbot. The report did not note the age range of those conversing with Roo, but chances are it wasn’t the 40 and older crowd. It’s most likely impressionable youth.

It indoctrinates our children.

Speaking of indoctrination, PP bragged that it had 2.4 million “education video views.” There are lots of videos on the PP site. But just on the PP tools for teens page, it’s easy to find videos such as How Do I Stop Ejaculating Too Fast?, What Is Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation?, How to Talk about Having Safer Sex, and more.

It infiltrates our justice system.

PP also bragged in its report that “PPFA attorneys managed a docket of approximately 40 cases challenging abortion bans and other harmful restrictions on access to sexual and reproductive health and education.”

Its attempts to be fun.

In 2021, “PPFA launched its presence on TikTok, and has since gained 135K+ followers and millions of views.” It also “launched the TikTok Collective: A group of 13 TikTok creators who created dozens of posts about sexual and reproductive health and rights that got a total of 20 million views and 2.9 million engagements.” Again, it’s not the elderly who are on TikTok; it’s our children.

PP’s CEOs made a combined $16,830,883 in the last fiscal year reported.

And in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, PP’s total revenue was just under 2 billion dollars.

Still think Planned Parenthood’s evil actions don’t affect you? Think again.

This is not an organization that needs our taxpayer money. This is an organization that feeds on the blood of dead babies and the souls of our children and that dares the little guy to stand up and say “no more.”

So that is what we must do.

Pay attention to what your children are watching. Keep lines of communication open with them. Use parental controls. Speak out; contact your congressman and senators and tell them to stop funding Planned Parenthood. And vote for people who respect life and who respect the innocence of children.

Change is our responsibility, and it begins with us. If we don’t take action, we will find ourselves standing around dumbfounded, wondering what happened while today’s Pied Piper—Planned Parenthood—leads our children on the path to hell.

  1. The additional story is that the Great Society created fatherless families and destroyed two generations, and then that an entitled PP is funded to help manage/cover up the unquestioned consequences. Like a dog that turns around to kick grass over his donation on the capitol grounds.

Likewise, too, part of synodality would now consider obliquely ratifying the gay lifestyle and agenda (already legitimizing under chancery letterhead the fictional LGBTQ “community”) and “irregular” marriages, even polygamy.

Otherwise–as also in government programs–the alternative in this case is to work more directly to undue sexual abuse and especially the culture of early random sexual experimentation. It’s almost as if the Church would have to be more forthright and even vocal about moral theology and sexual morality and, you know, Humanae Vitae.

Clumps of unnaturally green grass everywhere!

  2. This article had so much facts and information that I wish they reported this on the news for all to see!!! This could help those who believe that abortions are ok. They are murder of an innocent life and not ok. Thank you Susan for spreading the truth.

  3. A good article. But, the phrase, “We still give Planned Parenthood money because our country continually elects officials who sympathize with the organization” is not exactly correct. It is not just our country, but 50% of Catholics who vote for pro-abortion politicians. In my state two of the four bishops are registered members of the party of death.

I just read that in the fifty years since Roe V. Wade there has not been a single USCCB nationwide collection for pro-life activities. Where your time, talent, and finances are is where your priorities are.

    • “It is not just our country, but 50% of Catholics who vote for pro-abortion politicians.” What was written in the article is not an incorrect statement. Those Catholics are in our country.

    • Proposition 3 passed in MICH, despite Right to Life’s and the Church’s best efforts; very depressing. During the campaign, one of the Ford family heirs complained about the anti prop signs as burdensome: “Ahead of the November election, St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church has erected multiple large anti-abortion signs advocating against a ballot measure seeking to legalize abortion on its front lawn on Lake Shore Road in the affluent suburban Detroit community, prompting a member of the Ford family to call for the removal of the political display.”

      • Instead of joining in promoting the cause of life and denouncing death dealing, he says promotion is political. That’s not politics it’s a ….. WAY OF DEFLECTING FROM NOT PROMOTING LIFE IN PUBLIC while you make an attack in public on life. What is he doing about the death dealing?

        • Pro choice and didn’t want his ritzy neighborhood “littered” with right wing propaganda. Guess that he never heard of free speech.

  4. I have for years been concerned about the compensation given to CEO’s of non profits. It is an enigma to me. Where is the sacrifice for the needy that they supposedly serve? Why single out Planned Parenthood? (I don’t like them at all, by the way!!!) Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house. There are also plenty of non profits on the other side of the fence that are equally guilty. Let’s expose them all. Just saying 😇

    • “Why single out Planned Parenthood?”

      Why not?

“Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house.”

Do you know something about the author’s way of life that we don’t?

    • PP has a lot to do with our zero population growth; which is a problem getting worse every day

There are non profits like wounded w that have been in the news in the last 10 years that I will not deal with after their CEO’s comp and company paid partying have been divulged.

  5. “Change is our responsibility, and it begins with us. If we don’t take action, we will find ourselves standing around dumbfounded, wondering what happened while today’s Pied Piper—Planned Parenthood—leads our children on the path to hell.”

I agree that we must “change our responsibility” by voting pro-life. Perhaps we should increase the heat on PP by exposing companies that advertize or support PP.

    Some advertizers…
    American Cancer Society
    American Express
    AT&T
    Avon
    Bank of America
    Bath & Body Works
    Ben & Jerry’s
    Clorox
    Converse
    Deutsche Bank
    Dockers
    Energizer
    Expedia
