It’s great when a plan comes together. It’s even better when an unplanned plan happens to come together. That’s what happened yesterday when I realized we had five book reviews and author intervews at hand, all of them having to do with recently published books. So, this week Catholic World Report is featuring five books that we think readers will find informative, edifying, and worth reading. Yesterday we posted Carrie Gress’s review of Robert George’s new book, Conscience and its Enemies: Confronting the Dogmas of Liberal Secularism (ISI Books, 2013), and today we posted my interview with Marc C. Nicholas, author of the excellent study of one of my favorite theologians, Jean Daniélou’s Doxological Humanism : Trinitarian Contemplation and Humanity’s True Vocation (Wipf & Stock, 2012).
