Ilyas Khan is the chairman of Leonard Cheshire Disability, the world's largest NGO and charity devoted to supporting and campaigning for disabled people. A noted philanthropist, he is also a trustee and the chairman of the Capital Appeal Committee for the Christian Heritage Centre Project that is based at Stonyhurst College in his native county of Lancashire. Ilyas has written and published articles and books on a wide variety of topics and is known for his special interest in the work of Hans Urs Von Balthasar.
